The Nola Quilt

Hi Quilty friends! I wanted to talk a little more about the Nola Quilt and share additional photos from some of my pattern testers!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce the release of my very first quilt pattern! It's been a journey of almost a year to bring this vision to life, and now it's finally here!

Naming this quilt The Nola Quilt holds immense significance for me as it pays tribute to someone very dear to my heart. My great aunt, Nola, was the driving force behind my journey into quilting four years ago. Her unwavering support and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping me into the quilter I am today.

I'm also incredibly grateful to my Pattern Testers for their invaluable assistance throughout this process! Their feedback was instrumental, and I'm truly touched by their kindness and support, especially considering this was my first venture into pattern writing.

When I initially designed this quilt, I envisioned it as more of a solid quilt. However, after seeing the fabric selection from Ashley @Qrazyaboutquilting, which featured the CUTEST prints, it truly brought the design together! It completely changed my perspective on what this pattern could become, and I'm excited to create another Nola quilt, using prints this time!

I meanā€¦ COME ON! How cute are these prints?

Yet another adorable Nola Quilt featuring prints is this vibrant and stunning pinky-orange creation by Emily @made.with.love.by.em. I love how the darker green accentuates the vibrant orange and pink hues, making them truly stand out!

Sherri @Shellish made this gorgeous monochromatic Nola Quilt with the most beautiful backing and it truly looks like it was made for this quilt! She also long armed the quilt herself & donā€™t you just love this panto?

Creating this pattern was so fun, and I'm excited for what's next! Coming soon, I'll be adding more quilt patterns inspired by family names to my heritage series.
